Yet he&#8217;s been known as <strong>Get Well Soon<\/strong> since 2003. In that time, he&#8217;s produced five albums and made a name for himself with his music project \u2013 and a good name at that. The German arts pages adore this young man, who hails from a village in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg but left the provinces behind long ago. His fifth album, &#8216;The Horror&#8217;, was released in June, which turned out not to be a bad omen. The track &#8216;Martyrs&#8217; particularly stands out. Here, Gropper paints an epic soundscape \u2013 no, a sound painting. Soundtracks, folk, classical: he draws his ingredients from many genres and crafts them into: pop. S\u00fcddeutsche Zeitung writes of his new album: &#8216;He ventures deep into pop.&#8217; Blimey, let&#8217;s hope he finds his way back out.
